Savor Soup House

Location: 11th & Alder
Type: Soup and sandwich
Cost: $5.50
Food: Miss Lizzy sandiwch
Wait: fine
Size: Generous but not overwhelming

Mmm.  So, I can't speak to their soups, but they make a nice sandwich.  I got a sandwich with yummy bread (a fresh ciabatta roll), a scrumptious ingredient (brie), and freshness (ham, lettuce).  It was entirely delightful, came lightly packaged, and disappeared into my tummy easily (except for surprisingly mustardy bite).
Summary:
Would go again is someone else wanted to? yes
Would take Dave there for a repeat visit? maybe

  1. The array of food carts available to you is astounding -- compared to what we have up here in Juneau in soggy Southeast Alaska. More than fifty tested, another thirty-plus to go. I assume carts come and go, so some you've visited may be out of business now, and new ones have appeared? My lunch was yogurt, chocolate and a granola bar.

  2. Hmm, I haven't figured out yet how to keep track of when comments are posted.

Yes, we have a huge array in Portland. The list to the left is just the one's near my office. Yesterday we ventured out on bike to a pod in North Portland. And they do come and go. In fact, there are a few on my list that appear to have disappeared to to never be open that need to be removed and I often have a list on my iPod of a few that need to be added.
